Louis & Doris, you are such a lively and complementary pair! Thanks so very much for Doris’s
‘Chain-of-thougt’ writing and Louis’s clever & insightful shots! What an advantage to have no language Barriers!

Only correction : Eiffel tower – ck out your ‘morning’ statement-Ooopps!

Happy Travels in the year ahead!

When I produced the weekend news… I was so happy to have Louis shooting feature items… when items rarely ran more than two minutes…Louis and his partner Henry would get 3:45… let it run. He shot triple system and you could hear the birds chirping in the background… the items were all works of art.. thank you then and now

Thank you for the kind and generous vote that Louis is an artist, not an outlaw. (Doris agrees.)

Fred and I shared the travel photography and portraits en route from Alexandria to st Simons island…Georgia.

We stopped in Charleston and sipped on oysters and soup; pimento cheese and grits! The marshes invite the wintering birds and the characteristic side entrances hide the lengthy porches and alley ways!

We noticed people’s faces and strides differently and enjoyed the bartenders stories all the more from your stories and text-tiles!

We must travel side by side someday! Until then, do send more portraits penned from afar!

The best ever! All the way through this post I was thinking a list of all the people I want to send it out to. Both of you really and truly shine out. At the end, I said to Tom, “I think they should just stay in Paris because it’s obviously feeding them magic, wisdom, fun (the jazz club!) and genius.” Thank you from a very snowy Sandpoint (returned last night, in time to escape driving in the upcoming projected 18″ of snow).
    Here’s to 2018! K

Ah, thanks again, summer neighbor. Honestly, we could not have made up a moment as perfect for this blog as the woman with her purse dog. Sometimes you get lucky.

I loved this episode about Louis taking photos and Doris assisting by first getting out of the way and then writing the story to go with the images. Taking photos while traveling is a daily pleasure for me too (though unlike Louis I’m a total amateur with my trusty little iPhone). I so look forward to these posts of yours! They’re wonderful.

Haha … I hadn’t thought about my contribution as the writer. I guess we make a pair. And, hey, your iPhone is a good soldier. We don’t flag the photos in the blogs that Louis did not take, but (sssshhhh) Doris sneaks in a few, all shot with her own trusty iPhone 6. Thanks for coming along and taking us with you, too.

Oh man! This episode was like eating pecan pie. I couldn’t stop till I got to the end and savored every bite.
