Partout with Louis and Doris is the blog we (that would be Louis and Doris) launched in 2017 after we both retired from our day jobs and set off to live Hans Christian Anderson’s maxim that to travel is to live. Louis having retired from being a network cameraman and Doris having retired from being a professional writer, we figured this was a sure-fire formula for taking friends and family along on our travels.
In French, Louis’s mother tongue, “partout” means “all over,” which we have been ever since. (In English, the letters spell “part out,” which refers to selling a car part by part and has led to occasional confusion.)
Feel free to follow, comment, advise or ignore Partout, as you like, but know we will take you with us in our hearts everywhere.
