My favorite of all the stunning photos is the one of the Cape of Good Hope. Bravo Louis! And now i can just visit San Diego instead of traveling all the way to South Africa….thanks for the “compare and contrast”!!

Not many sails seen in that territory! The winds around the Cape are mighty.

Your photos and notes of your experiences in places I’m likely not to visit enrich me — thank you! And as a San Diego County resident for a number of years recently, I “see” what you mean. Nice reminding, I hope! What I’m really looking forward to is the “travelog” about how your relationship successfully survived the trip — look forward to tips and tricks! Safe travels to our fearless Partout team.

The reminders of San Diego were all sweet. And fun. Our key to surviving five months of non-stop togetherness: (1) Intermissions! An afternoon on separate itineraries can be amazingly refreshing. (2) Laughter. I can’t remember when we laughed at ourselves as much as we did on this trip. We are hoping to keep the knack back at home.
